This blog is inspired by in the embodied justice of Jesus and seeks to deepen our understanding of God’s commitment to equity and social justice. Yet it does not remain at a general level: Hora de Equidad focuses especially on gender inequality and its many expressions. We recognize that gender inequity is not an isolated phenomenon, but a structural reality manifested in social inequalities, ecclesial discrimination, and multiple forms of abuse—within families, communities, legal systems, and spiritual spaces.
From a critical yet hopeful Christian perspective, this space denounces the injustices faced by millions of women, girls, and children around the world, both within and beyond the church. At the same time, it is an invitation to reflect, pray, learn, and act. Hora de Equidad seeks to be a prophetic voice that promotes just relationships and inclusive structures, encouraging believers and churches to embody a faith consistent with the Kingdom of God—a Kingdom where justice and equity are visible signs of divine love in action.
May each reading lead to discernment and transformation. May our words and our lives reflect the character of a God who restores, liberates, and calls us to live in community with justice, truth, and compassion.
